Wall of Kindness

Letter May 12, 2016
We must keep the gesture going and not let it deteriorate like other positive initiatives that began in our country

KARACHI: The Wall of Kindness idea has been trending in Pakistan after its success in other countries. In multiple cities, a number of NGOs and individuals came forward and established these walls. People supported the idea for some time, but now I see that most of the walls are bare, with nothing hanging on them except the writing “Deewar-e-Meharbani”. People should realise that this is a humanitarian venture and any support will benefit the poor. We must keep the gesture going and not let it deteriorate like other positive initiatives that began in our country.
