LAHORE: Former deputy prime minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said on Tuesday that his son Moonis Elahi’s name had not featured in the Panama Papers. Talking to reporters at his residence, he said the government had been trying to spread confusion. “I categorically reject the report regarding Moonis and our family. Some ministers and daily wagers at the Prime Minister’s House Media Cell have been striving since long to have the names of Moonis among others in the papers,” Elahi said. Responding to a query, he said there was unanimity among the opposition over the papers.
