Trade policy: KATI demands implementation
KATI president said the leading political parties should work together for ‘Charter of economy’
The federal government should ensure the timely implementation of the new trade policy, said Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) President Zahid Saeed on Tuesday. The policy was announced for the coming three years, but funds for the ongoing current fiscal year have not been disbursed, restricting the policy’s timeframe, according to a statement. “Similar to ‘Charter of democracy’, the leading political parties should work together for ‘Charter of economy’ so that long term economic policies can bring economic stability in the country,” Saeed said.
