Fraud charges: Man booked for bounced cheque
The police have registered a case against the suspect and investigation is underway
ISLAMABAD:
The Shalimar police on Saturday booked a man for issuing a bogus bank cheque for Rs160 million to a man against the borrowed sum. Shahryar Khan lodged a complaint with the police that Ehsanullah Qureshi issued him the cheque at F-10 Markaz, on December 16, 2015 which was bounced on Friday after the bank informed him that there is no money in the account. The complainant told the police that the alleged fraudster has gone into hiding after cheating him. The police have registered a case against the suspect and investigation is underway.
