Pending: Teachers in Nowshera demand salaries

They had been hired by PDMA and had submitted an application to the authority to release their salaries

PABBI: A large number of teachers hired to educate children in Jalozai Camp, Nowshera have not received their salaries for the last three months. Speaking to journalists at Pabbi Press Club, the teachers said they had been hired by Provincial Disaster Management Authority and had submitted an application to the authority to release their salaries. The application was approved. As a result, their salaries were to be disbursed by May 2. However, the deadline has passed and teachers have yet to receive their salaries.
