KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) Karachi issued on Saturday non-bailable arrest warrants again for Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain and 20 other senior party leaders for delivering and facilitating anti-Pakistan speeches.

According to reports, ATC II and IX issued warrants for the MQM supremo and several others, including Farooq Sattar and Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, for delivering hate speech against the state.

The court further ordered the investigation officer to arrest and produce the accused in court on June 4.

This is not the first time non-bailable arrest warrants have been issued for these individuals.

In January, a Karachi-based ATC issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Altaf and 20 others over the former’s disparaging remarks against Pakistan Army in July 2015.
