The Federal Anti-Corruption Court judge Muhammad Azeem issued warrants after the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) which is probing into the scam, nominated Gillani, his former secretary Muhammad Zubair and others as absconding suspects.

The judge also ordered the FIA to arrest the accused and present them before the court by June 2. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) central leader Gillani, some senior bureaucrats and others had been booked for their alleged involvement in the multi-billion-rupee scam.
They have been accused of allegedly issuing fake trade subsidies and making fraudulent claims for receiving kickbacks and commissions.
Non-bailable: Warrants issued for Gilani, Amin Fahim
The former premier and others are already charge-sheeted in more than 70 similar cases while a dozen more cases are in the pipeline for final investigation.
Gillani is already on bail in the rest of the cases.
