Girl guides could help raise awareness regarding education

LAHORE: Higher Education Minister Begum Zakia Shahnawaz said on Thursday girl guides could help raise awareness regarding education. She was speaking at a ceremony held to distribute awards among members of the Pakistan Girl Guides Association (PGGA) at its Annual Council Meeting. The meeting reviewed proceedings of the previous year. PGGA Provincial Commissioner Nafisa Sikandar Malhi presented the performance report of 2015. She said that Guides activities and campaigns had been arranged throughout the year.
