Farewell : Justice Mehmood retires
With his retirement, the number of judges in the LHC has gone down to 48
LAHORE:
Justice Muhammad Khalid Mehmood Khan of Lahore High Court on Tuesday retired from service after attaining the age of superannuation (62 years). A farewell ceremony was held in the honour of the outgoing judge. Chief Justice Ijazul Ahsan presented a souvenir and a bouquet to the outgoing judge. Several court officers and staff were also present on the occasion. Justice Khalid Mehmood Khan was elevated as an LHC judge on February 19, 2010. With his retirement, the number of judges in the LHC has gone down to 48. The constitutionally sanctioned strength is 60.
