A man was killed and five others were injured in a shootout between employees of two groups of transporters in a Sahiwal police precinct on Monday night. Police said on Tuesday that the two groups of transporters exchanged fire at the Sahiwal Bus Stand late night on Monday. Ghulam Muhammad, a pedestrian, was hit and he died before he could be treated for the wound. Police said five others – Muhammad Ishaq, Muhammad Aslam, Munawar Abbas, Safdar and an unidentified man – were injured.
