Uop: Iqbal appointed as history dept chair

PESHAWAR: University of Peshawar Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Rasul Jan appointed Professor Javed Iqbal as the chairperson of the history department at the varsity. This was stated in a notification issued from the office of the UoP registrar on Tuesday. Iqbal holds a PhD in Central Asian Studies from UoP’s Area Study Centre and has been working as an associate professor in the same department. He has worked on numerous research papers published in national and international journals.
