Technology: AJK ministers, officers to get internet

The expenditures of the facility would be deducted from official telephone bills of the officers concerned

MUZAFFARABAD: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government on Monday approved portable internet devices for ministers and senior government officials. Besides internet facility in office, these devices would help ministers and government officers to remain in touch with their departments round the clock, in and outside the region. The AJK government has issued a notification regarding provision of portable internet devices to ministers, chief secretary, inspector general of police, additional chief secretary, Board of Revenue senior member, secretaries, government advisers and other grade-20 officers. The expenditures of the facility would be deducted from official telephone bills of the officers concerned.
