The University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK) syndicate on Monday approved a new policy to make future hiring through the National Testing Service (NTS) to ensure merit.
According to a spokesperson for the university, the syndicate has issued a new procedure to appoint the best available talent for both faculties and administration through the NTS. Under the new policy, the final recruitment would be made once a candidate clears written and verbal tests. He said that every aspirant will have to secure at least 50 per cent marks in written test to be able to be selected for the viva voce.
The spokesperson said that only top five short-listed candidates would be called for interview against any post.
The syndicate also decided to make recruitments against the recently advertised vacant positions of junior cadres through the NTS.
