Karachi’s ex-mayor Mustafa Kamal will open the first office of the recently launched Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) today (Saturday), barely a week after the party held its first rally.
A PSP delegation will arrive in Lahore on Saturday to inaugurate its party office, Raza Haroon told a news conference at Kamal’s residence-cum office on Khayaban-e-Sehar in Defence, Karachi. “We are going to Lahore to meet the people of Punjab. Soon we will visit Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan as well,” said the PSP leader, who was previously associated with the MQM.
The former parliamentarian said they would prove the allegations wrong that the PSP was a “one-city party”, and would take their politics to every nook and corner of the country. Giving a glimpse of the party’s organisational setup, Haroon said the political structure would not be on unit- or sector-level like the MQM and would instead be formed on the union council level.
