The CDGL would set up stalls of quality sugar, chicken and flour bags along with other essentials at the bazaars
LAHORE:
The city district government of Lahore (CDGL) has decided to increase the number of Ramazan bazaars from 27 to 31, an official said on Thursday.
He said CDGL teams would inspect the bazaars to review security arrangements and to ensure the availability of items.
He said town administrations had been directed to make proper security and parking arrangements.
He said the CDGL had identified sites for setting up the bazaars in Allama Iqbal Town, Gulberg Town, Nishtar Town, Ravi Town, Aziz Bhatti Town, Shalimar Town and Wagha Town. The CDGL would set up stalls of quality sugar, chicken and flour bags along with other essentials at the bazaars. “The aim is to provide maximum relief to the citizens during Ramazan,” the official said. Action would be taken against the vendors found guilty of violating related laws, he said.
