Rape allegation: Warrants of two suspects issued

KALLAR SYEDAN: Arrest warrants of two men accused of rape were issued here on Wednesday. The suspects flee a local court premises after their bail application was dismissed. On April 1, 25 years old, *Alam was allegedly raped by four men. After the incident, Alam, not withstanding the trauma, committed suicide by jumping into a stream in the area. Alam’s father *Zaheer lodged an FIR against Obaid Zahoor, Ehtisham Arshad, Amir and Mehtab Arshad. Police after arresting Mehtab secured his judicial remand and sent him to Adiala Jail. Zahoor and Arshad had secured interim bail to avoid arrest. The fourth accuse, Amir has reportedly left the country.
