ISLAMABAD:

Disposing of the contempt petition against interior ministry officials, the Supreme Court has proposed that Ayyan Ali approach the Sindh High Court against the placement of her name on the Exit Control List (ECL) for the second time.

The two-judge bench of the apex court, headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, pointed out that the relevant high court may decide the plea of the supermodel for bail in a money laundering case. The Sindh High Court had earlier removed travel restrictions imposed on the model.

Ayyan had filed a petition, requesting the court to impose contempt of court on the ministry of interior and customs department for not complying with the top court’s judgment dated April 13 and listed her name in the Exit Control List (ECL) once again.
