According to a statement issued by the district administration on Monday, officials raided different examination halls in the provincial capital and directed the staff to keep an eye on those violating the laws.

The raids come in the wake of a ban imposed to stop unwanted people from entering examination centres.
Last year, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar had suspended eight teachers for allegedly allowing students to cheat during their mathematics paper of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.
The BISE inspection team had visited Islamia Collegiate School, Peshawar where they found candidates referring to cheating material in the presence of teachers during the mathematics paper in hall number 330 and 331.

The inspection team then took action against the teachers on duty and registered complaints against them with the BISE.
