Power woes: Two feeders installed in Charsadda

PESCO CEO said the feeders cost more than Rs700 million

CHARSADDA: Two new feeders were inaugurated in Prang, Charsadda by Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) CEO Anwarul Haq Yousafzai and MNA Maulana Said Gohar Shah. This was stated in a handout issued by the power utility on Sunday. “The feeders cost more than Rs700 million,” a handout issued by the power utility stated. The handout quoted Yousafzai as saying, “The feeders have been installed as per the demands of the people. It will help address low voltage.” Meanwhile, the Pesco chief instructed Wapda officers to recover dues and control line losses. “An operation is under way against power theft,” the document quoted the Pesco chief as saying.
