The British Council held an awards ceremony for winners of the ‘Your World’ global video competition on Tuesday.
Winning teams from Karachi, Hyderabad, Sahiwal and Islamabad and representatives of Cambridge International Examinations attended the ceremony.
The City School, Liaquat Campus Hyderabad, won the award in 14-16 category while Pak Turk International Schools and Colleges Islamabad won in 17-19 category.
British Council Pakistan Country Director Peter Upton gave away the prizes. He lauded originality and creativity of all the teams and congratulated them.
“It is so amazing to see how ‘Your World’ video competition has combined scores of videos full of cultural diversity on a single platform,” Upton.
“With our Partner Schools Network (PSN) programme, we are building skills and capacity of leaders, teachers and students all across Pakistan,” said Murray Keeler, who is British Council Pakistan director examination.
