Grant: Rs10m announced for hospital

SWABI: Awami National Party district president Ameerur Rahman has announced a grant worth Rs10 million for a government-run hospital in Chota Lahor, Swabi. He expressed these views during a convention held at Faqir Hussain’s hujra in Swabi on Tuesday. ANP workers, union council members and others were present. Rahman said the timely release of funds by the authorities will help improve the management of hospitals and educational institutions. The participants complained the condition of government-run hospitals in the area was miserable and lack qualified doctors and medicines. They also shared that nazims and councillors did not impose new taxes in Swabi as compared to other districts.
