Will head PCB if asked: Zaheer Abbas
ICC president says he is always available for Pakistan in any capacity
International Cricket Council (ICC) president Zaheer Abbas has entered the race to become Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) head after calls for removing the board's top brass post-World T20.
"I am always available for Pakistan in any capacity. My term as ICC president ends this year but even while I have the ICC post I can also head the board if required," said Zaheer while speaking to reporters in Lahore.

Zaheer said it was possible for him to hold two positions since Indian board officials have also held an ICC and a board position previously.
"At the moment no one has approached me for any position in the PCB but yes if I am approached and invited to head the PCB I will not back down," he said.
The 68-year-old hailed Inzamamul Haq as chief selector. "Inzamam should do a good job but at the same time we need the right people in other positions as well including the most important post of head coach," he said.

Zaheer also added that Pakistan never lacked talent but the system should be set right to avoid disappointments such as in the recent Asia Cup and World T20 campaigns. "We have to strengthen our domestic structure and also clearly designate job descriptions so that there is no confusion or meddling in other person's domain," he added.
