Leadathon’16, a three-day event, aiming to equip children with the essential skills needed to become an effective leader opened here on Friday.
The networking and leadership conference includes team building activities and sessions to develop a collaborative spirit among all participants. The students will participate in activities that will help them understand and analyse information, critically evaluate it and then utilise it with a problem-solving approach.
It will also include a series of academic and personal growth sessions designed to help children reach their highest potential.
Sania, a teacher, said that the purpose of the event is to have fun and learn.
The inauguration was followed by an icebreaker challenge where facilitators controlled teams of kids.
