LAHORE:

An additional district and sessions judge sought comments from the Nishtar Colony SHO on a petition seeking the registration of a case against two men for allegedly supplying substandard merchandise.

Petitioner Muhammad Sharif said that he ran a bakery. “Muhammad Aslam Bhatti and Javed Iqbal gave me an order to prepare biscuits.

They provided me sugar, oil, eggs and other items that were substandard. I informed them about it, but they dismissed my complaint.

When the biscuits were prepared, they were returned because they were not good,” Sharif said. He said that the suspects blamed him and started threatening him with dire consequences.

He requested the court to direct police to register a case against them.
