Aitchison College bags eight awards at Harvard MUN

The conference took place on March 17-19. It was attended by around 1,500 delegates from 15 countries

An Aitchison College Lahore team bagged the best small delegation, six best delegate and two outstanding diplomacy awards at a Model United Nations conference arranged by Harvard University in China, says a press statement.


It says that the team won more awards than any other team participating in the conference. Some of the committees where the team won were the United Nations Security Council, the Commission on the Status of Women, the Social Cultural and Humanitarian Committee, the Legal Committee and the Disarmament and International Security Committee.

The conference took place on March 17-19. It was attended by around 1,500 delegates from 15 countries.

The participating members included Mohammad Ali Ajmair, Nafeel Irfan, Ahmad Iqbal, Hubaib Haider, Muhammad Ahmed Saeed,  Muhammad Haseeb Ul Hassan, Muhammad Ibrahim Kazi and Saad Ahsan.

Before attending the Harvard MUN in China, the Aitchison College team had won best delegation and outstanding delegation awards at MUN conferences held at the LUMS, Headstart, City School and the Lahore Grammar School.
