The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Sunday arrested an Afghan national in possession of a fake Pakistani passport.
Gul Akhtar, the suspect, was booked a Saudi Arabia-bound PIA flight. Immigration officials, however, found that the passport he held was fake.

During investigation, the suspect said he was an Afghan national and was currently living in a refugee camp in Haripur district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
He said his real name was Muhammad Sharif and he hailed from Jalalabad.
He said he acquired the passport and work visa through an agent in Peshawar.

He has been handed over to anti-human trafficking cell of the FIA for further investigation.
