Education: PEF distributes 2.4m textbooks

On April 8, The PEF will distribute 75,310 books among 54 schools in Burewala

LAHORE: The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has completed the distribution of 2.4 million textbooks among partner school across the province. These schools are located in Kot Addu, Dera Ghazi Khan, Kot Chutta, Multan, Mailsi, Mian Chanuu, Shujaabad, Rajanpur, Bahawalpur, Lodhran, Muzaffargarh, Pakpattan, Vehari, Arifwala and Dunyapur. According to a PEF spokesman, 95,718 textbooks have been given to 88 partner schools in Arifwala and Pakpattan; 73,441 books to 72 schools in Vehari; and 60,578 books to 49 partner schools in Dunyapur.  On April 8, The PEF will distribute 75,310 books among 54 schools in Burewala; 72,117 in 61 schools in Jalalpur Pirwala; 80825 textbooks among 76 schools in Depalpur; and 84,520 books among 56 schools in Jatoi tehsil.  Separately, PEF Human Resource Director Muhammad Imran Yaqoob has been given the additional charge of operations deputy managing director.
