Busted: Two sent on judicial remand

LAHORE: A judicial magistrate sent a man accused of selling food items at exorbitant rates on 14-days judicial remand on Sunday. Factory Area police had brought the suspect before the magistrate where his counsel Advocate Pervez Ahmed told the court that his client had been implicated in a false case to humiliate him. Separately, a judicial magistrate sent a rickshaw driver on 14-days judicial remand for blaring songs from a loud speaker attached to the roof of his rickshaw. Lytton Road police brought him before the court where his counsel said that his client was innocent.
