In broad daylight: Dry fruit vendor shot dead

ABBOTTABAD: A dry fruit vendor was gunned down by an unidentified assailant during a busy hour in Fawara Chowk on Sunday. Police and eyewitnesses said told the journalists a dry fruit vendor was doing his work when an unidentified assailant shot him with a 30-bore pistol. The attacker shot four bullets, killing the man on the spot. The victim was later identified as a 25-year-old Afghan refugee Zawaruddin.
