Hate Material: Man given 10-year jail term

RAWALPINDI: ATC-II Judge Asif Majeed Awan on Thursday handed down a 10-year jail term to a man for carrying hate material. The Rawalpindi CTD arrested Qari Israr Ahmed on May 22, 2015 with a USB. The device contained hate material that was confirmed inflammatory by the Muttahida Ulema Board in Lahore. The court also handed down a fine of Rs100,000 to Ahmed.
