ISLAMABAD: Shaukat Hayat assumed the charge of Inspector General National Highways and Motorway Police on Thursday. Hayat is a notable police officer and has previously served as an Additional Inspector General Police in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. He has also served on a number of senior posts in K-P’s police department. Hayat is known for his professional, dedication and honesty. The outgoing National Highway and Motorway Police IG Muhammad Saleem Bhatti has been posted as senior member of Prime Minster Inspection Commission. On his arrival at NHMP Headquarters Islamabad, DIG Operations NHMP Ghulam Rasool Zahid, DIG Headquarters Haleena Saeed and other senior officers warmly welcomed him.
