A recent video has emerged of the moment when Cristiano Ronaldo failed to score from a penalty and instead hit a fan, giving him a black eye.

A Canadian tourist, who went to Real Madrid’s match against Sevilla on March 20 at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, was not expecting to come out with a black eye as the Portuguese star kicked the ball over the goal hitting the camera filming his strike.

Real went on to win the game by four goals to nil, despite Ronaldo’s unfortunate miss.
