Crime : Woman, her ‘paramour’ killed

BAHAWALPUR: A woman and a man believed to be her paramour were killed allegedly by her brother-in-law at Patti Khayara village near Uch Sharif. An FIR registered in the incident said that the suspect, Abid Baloch, had believed that following his brother Khalid Baloch’s departure for Karachi his sister-in-law Khursheed Bibi had started seeing Muhammad Abid Khan, a resident of a neighbouring village. On Monday night, it said, Baloch saw Abid Khan entering Khursheed Bibi’s house. He followed him and finding the two together attacked them with an iron rod, killing them on the spot. He then fled, it added. Uch Sharif police said a team had been formed to track down the suspect.
