RAWALPINDI: Federal Investigation Agency investigation officer deputy director Khalid Rasool recorded his statement in the Benazir Bhutto assassination case on Tuesday. Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Rai Muhammad Ayub Marth has also summoned DIG Wajid Zia on March 30. Rasool told the court that he arrested former president Pervez Musharraf in the case and obtained his four-day physical remand. Rasool, a prosecution witness, denied that Asif Ali Zardari told him not to perform post-mortem of Benazir Bhutto. He also said that it was not true that the former prime minister was killed because she stood up through the sunroof of her car. DIG Saud Aziz, SP Khurram Shahzad, Aitezaz Shah, Sher Zaman, Rafaqat, Hasnain and Abdur Rashid — all accused in the case — were present in the court room.
