Research programme: PARC completes 101 projects

The project, launched with a total cost of Rs2,963 million, focused on a broad-based approach to agricultural growth

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Agriculture Research Council (Parc) has completed 101 projects initiated under the Research for Agricultural Development Programme for developing the agriculture sector in the country. The project, launched with a total cost of Rs2,963 million, focused on a broad-based approach to agricultural growth through science-based solutions. “It is aimed at making the agri-sector more profitable, enhancing its productivity and diversification of high-value crops with demand-based production,” said Parc spokesman Sardar Ghulam Mustafa. “Other objectives of the project were value addition of agri-products to develop the value chain and competitive market prices.
