However, a number of his friends in the entertainment industry have termed it a suicide attempt, owing to the’ struggles’ he was going through in his personal life. The hospital’s administrative staff did not corroborate the claim.
“We can’t give you any details about how it happened, all we can tell you is that he was hospitalised in our facility for two days, due to severe injuries and has now been discharged,” a member of the administrative staff of the hospital told The Express Tribune, requesting anonymity.
Another source in the nursing staff however, confirmed the suspicion of Javaid’s friends and said that the suicide was being kept a secret upon his family’s request. “It was a clear case of suicide but no one has been allowed say anything in this matter. It was treated like a suicide case and nothing else,” the nursing staff member at the Surgical ICU told The Express Tribune.

Javaid’s wife, singer Fariha Parvez also refused to comment on the matter and her brother spoke on her behalf, “You should ask Noman what happened to him and not Fariha,” he said.
Javaid and Fariha got married earlier this year in an intimate ceremony after seeing each other for a while.

Noman came to the forefront of the music scene in 2009 after his solo track Darde-Tanhai made it to Bollywood with the film Jashnn. Since then, he has released several singles and collaborated on songs with Fariha.
