Security: Four members of banned outfit killed

BAHAWALPUR: Four members of a banned outfit were killed while three others managed to escape in an intelligence-based operation by the Counter Terrorism Department operation in Lodhran on Friday, police said. The CTD team also recovered suicide vests, explosives and a cache of weapons in the raid. The operation was conducted in Lodhran’s Adam Wahan area. A CTD official told The Express Tribune that the men had been hiding in a house. He said four of them were killed during the raid while three others managed to escape. He said their bodies had been moved to the Lodhran DHQ hospital.
