Two slain in Charsadda graveyard attack

Unidentified motorcyclists opened fire at the grave of late Bashir Bacha who was buried last year

SHABQADAR: Two men were killed and three others injured when they came under fire from unidentified motorcyclists at the main graveyard of Charsadda on Friday.

A Prang police official confirmed the death of Haseebullah and injuries to three people, namely Shamsher Ali Bacha, Tariq Syed and Afsar.

Unidentified motorcyclists opened fire at the grave of late Bashir Bacha who was buried last year.

A police official said the shooters fled from the area after carrying out the attack and the bodies were later taken to DHQ Hospital Charsadda.

Hospital officials said Shamsher Ali Bacha was shifted to LRH in Peshawar as he was in critical condition.

The grave site where these individuals were gathered was attacked last year, officials added.
