Commander Southern Command Lt Gen Amir Riaz has invited ‘misguided elements’ to come and join government efforts to frustrate the designs of anti-state elements and turn Balochistan into a haven of peace. Speaking at the inauguration of Balochistan Sports Festival, he said that road to Pakistan’s prosperity passed through Balochistan and the multibillion-dollar CPEC binds all routes of development from Gilgit to Balochistan. “CPEC will create countless jobs opportunities for the youth of Balochistan,” he added.
He predicted a terrorism-free Pakistan, and congratulated the security forces on the success of Operation Zarb-e-Azab and restoration of peace in Balochistan.
