Uber offering Pakistani cricket fans free rides to T20I match

Cricket fans will be able to avail free rides to the match which is set to be held at the Eden Gardens stadium

With India and Pakistan set to go head-to-head in a few hours in Kolkata, millions of cricket fans gather to watch the World Twenty20 match between the arch rivals.

Although there were many security concerns surrounding the arrival of the Pakistani team in India, Uber India have put forward a friendly hand in welcoming their neighbours.

"It's a pleasure hosting our neighbours. Uber Pakistan riders enjoy the Uber love with free rides to the IndiavsPak match!," they said.



Cricket fans will be able to avail free rides to the match which is set to be held at the Eden Gardens Stadium in the eastern city of Kolkata in West Bengal.

Uber Pakistan too took to Twitter to share the news.

Uber India's initiative has been greatly welcomed in the city as many took to Twitter to rejoice.
