The decision was taken by a sub-committee of Parliament looking into proposals to reform the election system.
While the candidates and their representatives sitting in a polling station would be provided voters list without pictures of women voters, a separate list with the presiding officers will have pictures of all male and female voters.

The body, led by Minister for Climate Change Zahid Hamid, also decided that a voters list would also carry the date of publication.
The meeting even decided launching a pilot project to give overseas Pakistanis the right to vote. Internet and smartphones would be used to cast such votes and to test the project.
Talking to media, Hamid said the penal will soon finalise its recommendations and present them to Parliament to enact laws accordingly.
The parliamentary committee on electoral reforms was constituted in August 2014 to come up with a legislative package for improving the electoral system.
