Robbery: Man seeks FIR against four including cop

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Saturday sought comments from the Lorry Adda SHO on a petition filed by a man seeking the registration of an FIR against four men, including a police constable, for snatching Rs30,000 from him. Petitioner Zafar Iqbal said that Naseer, Tasadaq, Bilal and Constable Idrees ran a gambling den. “A few days ago, I was going to pay someone Rs30,000. The four beat me up and then snatched the cash from me,” he said. He said the accused also threatened to murder him if he told anyone about the incident. Iqbal said that he had asked the SHO to take action against them. However, his request had been turned down.
