Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) President Alamgir Sheikh has said that the association would be announcing the national squad next week for the Asian 6-Red and Team Championship to be played in UAE in May.
Sheikh revealed that the PBSA can name four players, who would be finalised after getting the nod from the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB).
He further announced that the camp for the Asian championship would start in April and the PSB would cover all the expenses.

“I’m thankful that PSB will be bearing all the expenses of our camp and has even agreed to install a new cloth on the snooker tables which would allow the cueists to have better practice,” Sheikh told The Express Tribune. “If the PSB keeps supporting us then snooker will certainly improve.”
