Back On Their Feet: Survey to provide prosthetic limbs

The survey began on March 8 at Agency Headquarters Hospital Parachinar and will conclude on March 18

PARACHINAR: The FATA Secretariat has launched a survey to provide prosthetic limbs to people with disabilities in Kurram Agency. FATA Secretariat’s physical specialist, Dr Mian Imtiaz Shah, told journalists on Friday efforts are afoot to register people in this regard. He added the registered people will be provided prosthetic limbs. FATA Secretariat has signed a memorandum of understanding with Pakistan Institute of Prosthetic and Orthotic Sciences (PIPOS) in connection with this scheme. Under the agreement, PIPOS members will visit Parachinar next week and start working for the welfare of the people with disabilities. The survey began on March 8 at Agency Headquarters Hospital Parachinar and will conclude on March 18.
