The jurisdiction of the police station stretches over dozens of kilometres from Nooriabad to Jamshoro. Highway robberies are often reported, mainly by goods transporters. The inquiry established eight charges against the two policemen, including connections with criminals, freeing arrested criminals, theft and sale of case properties, sale of drugs and misuse of official authority. The dismissal order was issued by DIG Khadim Hussain Rind on the basis of investigations carried out by Iqbal.
