QUETTA: The Balochistan Election Commissioner Syed Sultan Bayazid has said that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced the by-election schedule for NA 267 constituency of Jhal Magsi-Kachhi. The NA 267 seat fell vacant after Supreme Court upheld the Election Tribunal verdict ordering re-election in the National Assembly constituency where the PML-N MNA Khalid Hussain Magsi was disqualified on alleged rigging in 2013 general elections. Speaking to reporters, Bayazid said the nomination papers would be accepted on March 24 and 25 at the office of returning officer. Appeals against nominations will be accepted or rejected till April 2. He said the commission will announce the final list of the candidates on April 8, leading to polling on April 28.
