A mega entertainment event is being organised by the Express Media Group in collaboration with the Chakwal Chamber of Commerce and Industries and the local administration.
The youth of the city will receive motorcycle training and driving licences during a festival being held from March 22 to 27.
District Coordination Officer Mehmood Javed Bhatti announced the family festival here on Wednesday. He said that the festival would provide a great opportunity to the people of Chakwal to enjoy themselves. A marathon race and a musical programme from 8pm to 10pm will also be held.
Meanwhile, a man was killed while his sister-in-law injured in a hit-and-run accident on Chakwal-Talagang Road. According to police, Faisal Anwar and his sister-in-law were hit by a speeding truck in Bagwal. The two were taken to the DHQ hospital where Anwar was pronounced dead on arrival while his sister-in-law was referred to the DHQ hospital Rawalpindi.
