Is it an ice-cream joint? Well... sort of, but not just! The center focus of the eatery is their nitrogen ice-cream, which – if you’re interested in theatrics you should be delighted – is made right in front of you.
Or perhaps you’re a chemistry buff? Either way you will find the process fascinating.
After you pick your desired ice-cream flavor at the counter, of which there are quite a few interesting ones, comes the cool part. The ice cream batter is poured into an electric mixer along with liquid nitrogen which makes a loud hissing sound, simultaneously releasing clouds of smoke; rapidly freezing the ice-cream.
And just like that within seconds you have before you, fresh, flash-frozen ice cream.
Is the experiment worth it? Absolutely! The resulting ice-cream is creamier because its flash-frozen, fresh, and will certainly take you to a happy place. There are plenty of interesting flavors to choose from, such as Choco-Nutella, Latte and Strawberry cheesecake.
In demand at Scream, besides the ice-cream, are the chicken wings, of which jalapeno and cheddar wings are a must try. The wings are tangy, hot, succulent and meaty; just like chicken wings should be.
The menu also offers other savory and sweet items such as mozzarella sticks, chicken strips as well as Shakes and fries. Fans of Boba tea can celebrate, as it is also on the menu.
Introduced by the same people who brought us the famous Boba Tea and Hoagies, ‘Scream’ is just as innovative as the former two.
Only a month old, the eatery will be adding more items to the menu, which include ‘chicken waffles’ reveals Saad one of the owners of Scream. Speaking about the public response to the new place Saad says that it has been ‘phenomenal’
The eatery is already searching for location for a second branch.
