QUETTA: The journey of peace and development in Balochistan has been initiated at full speed, said Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri. He invited everybody to come and become a part of this journey, saying that “I especially want to invite misguided people to get onboard as peace is our mutual destination for a peaceful and developed Balochistan.”

He was addressing a luncheon hosted in his honour by Speaker Balochistan Assembly Rahila Durrani here on Monday.

Commander Southern Command Lt Gen Aamir Riaz, provincial ministers, members of provincial and national assemblies, political and tribal notables and media persons were in attendance.

CM Balochistan confidently stated that terrorist acts will not deter our resolve nor would anybody be allowed to kill innocent people. “The political and military leadership is in sync to stamp out such elements,” he said, adding that returning misguided people to mainstream politics is not only in the best interest of the province and the country but is also in their interest.

“I once again invite them to come back to serve Balochistan and play their vital role in the development of the province and the country,” he added. He said that we know how to protect our people and will not allow chaos and unrest to spread in the province.

CM Zehri stated that we need to give a developed and peaceful Balochistan to our coming generations, adding that the process of peace and development would be continued in the province.
