Bipasha Basu snubs rumours of exchanging rings with ‘Alone’ co-star Karan Singh

MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Bipasha Basu on Monday snubbed rumours of getting engaged to her Alone co-star Karan Singh Grover, after she was captured wearing a prominent diamond on her ring finger. This week, some images surfaced online featuring Basu sitting on the back seat of a car with her beau, and hiding her face from the paparazzi. The actor, however, shared she will make her wedding plans public when she feels the time is right.

“Wait for me to announce my wedding when I want to and if I want to. Please stop treating it frivolously,” Bipasha tweeted. The Jism actor, who was earlier in a serious relationship with actor John Abraham, urged fans and media persons to avoid assumptions on her current relationship status. “For years, I have dealt with this constant discussion. Please be patient. After all, it’s my life. Thank you all. Humble request to all those who love me,” she said.



Commenting on the images that have sparked speculation of her engagement, she shared, “And yes, I don’t like getting clicked at 10pm, looking oily and dirty after a massage. I’m sure all women will understand that. It’s not rocket science.” While Karan was earlier married to Bollywood actor Jennifer Winget, who was his second wife, his first marriage was to actor Shraddha Nigam. Conjectures of their marriage are also doing the rounds but according to reports, Grover’s divorce to Winget has not been finalised yet.
